The 2-story, 30,433-square-foot academic building hosts the live KSYM radio station studios and two fully-equipped TV recording studios. In addition the building has a multi-track audio recording studio and control room, multiple audio and video editing labs, a lecture hall, a news lab, general classrooms and computer labs, administrative offices and conferencing areas.

HVAC and electrical design highlights include: low-velocity air distribution, low frequency noise attenuation elements, theatrical lighting and sound systems and harmonic mitigation.
