Certainly Cleary Zimmermann is prepared to offer traditional mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design services, but—unlike other MEP firms, our goal is to provide more than just technical expertise. For every project, we develop a thorough understanding of goals in an effort to identify innovative and cost-containing solutions that add value to the bottom line.

Our continued investment in the latest IT software and systems further supports our commitment to design excellence. Computer drafting and modeling is performed with a portfolio of products that include the latest versions of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP and Trace 700. We utilize state-of-the-art network servers and switches, offsite backup, and three full-size ink-jet and monochrome plotters for increased communication speed, reliable data protection and high-quality document production. We routinely review and evaluate our technology positions to ensure peace of mind and stability for our clients in unforeseen circumstances.

Founding principals Wade Cleary and Danny Zimmermann worked together for years with another legacy architectural firm before the inception of the company, and they developed together their shared commitment to Cleary Zimmermann’s core values of service and quality. Because Wade and Danny see eye-to-eye on attentiveness and the attainment of excellence, these values are fostered daily among all of the firm’s principals and associates.
It doesn’t go without saying—our project managers are committed to the on-time delivery of a quality product, and our team members and clients appreciate our consideration in responding to them punctually, and typically within the same day. That means no waiting for critical information, so a project can continue to move forward in a timely manner. Moreover, we do our due diligence in field-surveying conditions, preserve the related documentation, and when needed, assist our partners by clarifying the reasoning behind a design.
What’s more, we believe that sustainable design and energy efficiency are essential aspects of every project. Thus, Cleary Zimmermann is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and our staff is fully qualified to analyze, document and fulfill the LEED® requirements for certification of complex MEP systems.
Distinguishing our firm in the HVAC MEP design community, Cleary Zimmermann has established a Commissioning Division whose sole function is building systems commissioning. We’re proud to be recognized as the state’s first MEP firm to achieve and possess certification in both Building Systems Commissioning and Testing and Balancing of Indoor Environmental Systems from the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), and these accreditations only reinforce the strength of our exclusive Commissioning Division.
