Cleary Zimmermann recently completed the design of Canterbury Elementary School using Revit MEP building information modeling (BIM) software by Autodesk®. The project is our third using the relatively new BIM technology and the first for MEP systems at Northside Independent School District. Also a first for the District, Canterbury was designed to be LEED® certified.

The Menger Springs retirement community is nestled in 23 acres of scenic hill country north of San Antonio. Featured facilities include an independent living apartment building (132,683 ft2), forty-two independent living cottages, an Assisted Living/Alzheimer’s house (33,398 ft2), and a skilled nursing house (28,918 ft2). Amenities consist of full-service dining, a large pool, salons, spas and fitness areas. MEP design highlights are efficient water-source heat pumps, lighting designs appropriate for senior living, emergency power, the latest technology in digital access/egress control, CCTV and nurse call/emergency systems. A portion of the Assisted Living/Alzheimer mechanical systems were designed using Autodesk® Revit software.
